Japanese for work in Japan: confident interviews, the Japanese way of working

Japanese supervisors judge new workers by very short sentences: greeting at the right moment, reporting as soon as a task is done, asking to confirm when something is unclear. This program builds exactly those habits (報連相: report, contact, consult) along with job interviews, workplace safety, 5S and talking with elderly people in care homes.

Frequently asked questions

What do Japanese employers usually ask in the interview?

Why you want to go to Japan, your health, whether you can work overtime, your experience and your plans after returning home. The “Job interview” unit and the mock test cover all of these.

What is 報連相 and why does it matter?

It is short for report (報告), contact (連絡) and consult (相談): report as soon as you finish or make a mistake, and ask when something is unclear. Japanese workplaces value this very highly.
